Larry Hogle	Paul Ireland
Larry Hogle founded the firm in 1988. He has over 30 years experience in the planning, engineering, and development regulatory profession, with over 18 years experience as a Community Development/Planning Director in Southern California cities. Larry has extensive experience in providing services to both private development firms/property owners and public agencies.	Paul Ireland joined Larry as a partner in the business in 1990. He has over 20 years experience in top management/director level positions with cities prior to becoming a founding partner of Hogle-Ireland, Inc. Paul combines a strong background in all aspects of land use planning and community development. His management and organizational skills have proven beneficial to clients in both the private and public sectors.

History

On February 1, 1988, Larry Hogle started the company with the intent of doing only private development/entitlement work. Originally the company was only handling entitlement projects for various private sector clients. After about one year, the company, Hogle and Associates, expanded their services to also include work for public agencies.

Hogle and Associates moved out of their shared office space and established an independent office in Irvine in 1989. There were several requests from public agencies in the Inland Empire for the company’s services. To maintain a competitive edge, and as the company grew, a second office was opened in Riverside in September 1990. The company has steadily grown to meet the demands of its existing and prospective clients.

On December 1, 1990, the company was renamed Hogle-Ireland Development Consulting Group, which was a partnership between Larry and Paul. On February 23, 1992, the company was incorporated and became Hogle-Ireland, Inc. The company has continued to grow and gain its reputation as a recognized leader in the planning profession.
